CBT - Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, but can be useful for other mental and physical health problems.
CBT is a "problem-focused" and "action-oriented" form of therapy, meaning it is used to treat specific problems related to a diagnosed mental disorder. My role would be to assist you in finding and practicing effective strategies to address the identified goals and decrease the symptoms of your condition.
I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in CBT from the University of Oxford (2019).
If you would like more information about the way I work, please contact me directly and I will be happy to discuss this with you.
